Reference books are only for use only in the library. To afford greater convenience to our readers and to utilize resources fully, reference books may be checked out one hour before the library closes:
- Loan period: Reference materials may be checked out one hour before the library closes and must be returned within one hour after the library opens the next day. For late returns, each volume shall be charged NT$500 per hour. The late penalty fine shall be calculated according to the “Standards for Calculating Overdue Days.”
- Reference materials may not be reserved nor may the load period be extended.
- The borrower shall check out the book in person with a valid ID. When entrusting another person to borrow the book, the Proxy Authorization Form must be completed and the library card of the borrower and identity documents of the proxy must be submitted.
- Borrowed materials must be returned to the library from which they were originally borrowed. You may not use a book-drop to return such materials or return them at other libraries.
